He was the President of Andhra Chamber of Commerce, Madras Stock Exchange and Chennapuri Andhra MahaSabha . Connected with so many leading libraries and cultural organizations both in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Mobilized sizeable donations in addition to his voluntary contributions. Remained as a powerful driving force for the school till his end of his life.

Highly influential and an ardent lover of telugu language devoted his life to uplift the underprivileged children imparting education in their prime age. The plan for construction of the school building was drawn by them. The mandatory deposit of Rs.20000/- into a nationalized bank that begets a matching donation from TTD and The Govt.of Andhra Pradesh, the need of the hour was immediately fulfilled by him.

Unassuming with down to earth simplicity was his radiance. Accomplished the herculean task of transforming the school under a thatched shed on a rented land to its own premises on its own site. He served the school with exemplary selflessness for a period 47 years. He strived his every nerve for the upliftment of the underprivileged children. His wife was a matchless match to him who took care of the children by providing noon meals.

Ardently and devotedly accompanied in every task of Sri.ChallaSathyanarayanaGaru to accomplish the goal of educating the under privileged children. Relentlessly supported him transforming the school under thatched shed to its own premises on its own site.Mobilized sizeable donations as monthly and annual mode of payments from most of the Arya Vysya Charities in Chennai City. His devotion was so overwhelming that the school was called as Rangiah school.

Whole hearted acceptance to let the school get commenced on a portion of their land for a rent of Rs.15/- per month and offering a donation of Rs.150/- annually in return remained indelible not only as the kindest of the kind deeds but also as the sole cause for the existence of the school itself.
